Access to the Server
Who can access the server?
The Minecraft Server is open to Twitch Subs, Twitch Channel Points Redemptions, and Discord Boosters as a thank you for supporting the DougDoug channels. Anyone can access the Hub while live streams are not active on the server.
How do I access it?
For accessing the Minecraft server, you are required to be in the Doug District Discord.
Please read the rules of the Discord properly to get full access to the Discord
You may tour the Hub without a sub role but must link your account to your Discord account to join the server.
If you are a Twitch Sub, you must link your Discord account with the corresponding platform, to do so you need to go to User Settings > Connections on Discord to integrate your accounts.
By integrating your Discord account you should get the role “Spoonies“ if you are a Twitch sub.
The integration is key to identify whether you are a sub.
If you are a Discord Nitro Booster as long as you boost the Doug District Discord you will gain the required role to join.
Finally, if you purchase the Twitch Channel Point Reward Get access to the Minecraft Server and fill in the form you receive from wahahabot on Twitch Chat if you redeem. Depending on the time of redemption it might take time (in certain cases multiple days) until you receive the role "Minecraft Dollarydoos Access". You will be pinged on Discord when you receive the role.
What Minecraft editions and versions?
The Minecraft Server is only accessible via Minecraft Java Edition (Latest Version).
Why can I not enter the server / Why am I a Visitor?
You simply must link your account. You can do this by attempting to join a server and/or using /discord link. Once you get your four digit code you must drop the code into #mc-link on the discord. Congrats you linked your Discord and Minecraft accounts! You may see a Dannyling/Visitor prefix until a restart or member resync.
If you linked your account in the Hub but still can't join the SMP ensure you have one of the three correct roles to join the rest of the server. If you do and still cannot join ping a @Mc Mod in #mc-discussion.

Enhance your gameplay
To further enhance your gameplay on the Minecraft Server, it is recommended to use the Texture Packs as it will be described here. These are for Dungeons, Paintings, Music Discs, etc.

What is Optifine?
Optifine is a modification to Minecraft that makes the game look better and it also allows for variations with textures.
Recommended Optifine Settings
For the best gameplay experience with Optifine, it is recommended to turn off Custom Sky in the Optifine Settings.
